What to Expect
What is the service like?
We have one worship service that lasts about an hour. You will find a casual, friendly atmosphere with upbeat music followed by a practical message, taught straight out of the Bible that will apply to your everyday life. .
Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
We promise to never single you out or put you on the spot. We do like to collect some basic contact information through a Connection Card in the worship folder so we can respond to any questions you may have. However, if you’d prefer not to give this information that’s alright with us.
Will you judge me for not believing in Christianity?
No, we’ll accept you right where you are. We care about people. In fact, we call non-Christians “normal people” because we believe it is normal to live outside of Christianity. However, we will unapologetically teach the truth of Christianity from the Bible and the validity it has in our lives.
Do you care about me or my money?
We care about you. We realize that money is one of the most criticized areas within the church. With that in mind, we do not expect people who are coming to “check us out” to put any money in the offering plate. There is never any pressure to give.
When and where do you meet?
We meet every Sunday at 9:15 am. for Bible Classes and 10:30 am. for Worship. During the school year we also meet every Wednesday at 6:00 pm for dinner followed by classes at 6:30 pm. We are located at 1312 2nd St SE, just east of downtown Auburn.
